The powerful Montenegrin mountains are a shock to all the senses. Above the enormous green spaces rise the bare peaks, as sharp as blades. Raw, wild and inaccessible, and yet so beautiful and desirable, they go under the skin and inject you with the strength to go on.

Durmitor is a real masterpiece of nature and its every corner is tempting you to discover a hidden story. And there are so many hidden, tempting places, as Durmitor proudly owns 48 peaks with over 2,000 meters and 18 scattered glacier lakes surrounded by dense coniferous forests and a maze of 748 springs, cold and clear streams and rivers

The river Toplodol canyon

As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I can freely say that the canyon of the river Toplodol is the most beautiful canyon in Serbia, which I’ve had the chance to see so far. Its purity and meekness provide a feeling of peace and tranquillity. Even though I was there for the first time, I completely succumbed to that harmony; all seemed in place, as if I had always belonged there.
